2001 Albia Country Club Championship 
The Albia Country Club Junior Golf Championship was held Monday, July 23 at the Albia Country Club with a total of 34 junior golfers participating in five age divisions. The 14-15 year old division was won by Eric Duea with a 63 over 13 holes followed by Cody Flattery with a 75 and Curt Beary with a 77. The 12-13 year old division was won by Colton Cason with an impressive 41 over nine holes with Nathan Dorpinghaus finishing second with a 47. Aaron Flahive won the 10-11 year old boys division with a 39 over eight holes. The second place trophy went to Logan Dorpinghaus with a 48. The 10-11 year old girls division was won by Kelsey Rockwell with a 25 over four holes. In the 6-9 year old division, Kevin Wynn prevailed with a 39 over seven holes, followed by Taylor Maas with a 42. In the girls division, Mackenzie Wynn had a 28 over four holes and Brooke Scieszinski had a 34. Mason Cox won the 5 and under boys division with a 51 in three holes and Ariel Lawrence shot 37 over four holes to win the girls division over Cassie Crall.
